Sayonara, 2006 school year
Last day of school!

This means:
1) IT'S THE HOLIDAYS!
2) the classroom next year's gonna be on FOURTH FLOOR again. darn, have to climb four flights of stairs every time you go to school, every time you come back from recess/lunch and so on and so forth. So looking forward to it.
3) One last year in RGS and 309 ):

Pretty fast, I admit. When I was sec one I couldn't imagine myself being sec three, cause that would mean my five year old brother would be PRIMARY ONE and my p4 sister would be taking her psle, and LOOK! 2006 is going to pass!

I came into sec 3 without many expectations of 309. I'll be honest here -- I didn't have much of a good time in sec 1 and 2. I kept feeling ignored, and one thing that really bugs me? Not being paid attention to. I thought that was how my four years are going to be like, so I was resigned and getting used to it. Trying to, at least.

But 309 exceeded my expectations. I love 309, with all its quirky friendships, loser-ish signs, lame jokes, shopping excursions. Despite all the problems that we had throughout the course of the year, I still loved 309 and never regretted taking lit, getting into this class. Maybe it's cos I have so much in common with the rest of the class, whether it be the love for fun or the general disinterest towards fullout mugging. I don't know whether we're bonded or not, but I do know that I love 309 and almost everyone of this class.

Sec three, what a year.

First time I failed something, and not once, but twice. First time I got so low a gpa for end of year. First time I learnt so much about... shall I say human nature, or the world in general. Lit in sec one and two was just about discrimination, discrimination and more discrimination. Sec 3 lit was refreshing. (: Plus the fact that we had so many problems let us face up to the realities of what's happening. Though not as large a scale, maybe, as other schools, perhaps, but still a taste of it.

Lost some things, like generally passion. Stress caused me to lose it. I couldn't drum up the interest to do anything not going to contribute to my grade, like writing. I'm regaining a little of that passion since exams passed, and hopefully I'll get it back fully.

Atee says we're insincere. While I don't agree with him completely, on some aspects I do. And why do we seem so? Because we've lost the passion, the drive to do something for love. Or at least I have, for certain aspects. After the first half of the year, I started to drag myself through lessons. I couldn't drum up the energy, the enthusiasm for learning. Lessons were just something I had to endure, something I dread because I always seem to have undone homework. Too much stress doesn't sit well with me.

Hopefully, 2007 will be a better year when I can find my rhythm and handle the stress.

Over the past two days, I seem to be listening to quite a lot about saving the earth, what with inconvenient truth and the roots and shoots talk. I gleaned something, something that inspector calls was trying to teach me but failed. The community. I couldn't see the point in all that previously, but the movie and the talk sparked something in me. Yet whether this spark can translate something long lasting, translate into action is another thing. I'm impressed with all these noble ideals, but I don't know what I can do.

Too much reflection. Tomorrow there's debate workshop. I better, better go read the 14 pages of notes with size 10 font. GROANS. And, I ran out of money. Darn.

I NEED MONEY! (and not by online means/surveys, thankew for your concern) Maybe I should go look for a job.
