On a savage island, whee
Okay pardon me for not blogging. I BLOGGED ON SUNDAY OKAY, with a lovely piggy story, but no, blogger didn't like it, so you all didn't get the great opportunity to learn about pig A and pig B. Blame blogger if you like; I'm still fuming over the loss of my great work and valuable time. Maybe one day I'll be inspired to tell you all about Pig A and Pig B again.
So now I'm supposed to be doing a lit review for CAP, but as always, the ghost of procastination has rung its evil bells cos I don't know how to proceed on, and seriously I
do need a looong break, at least that's what I keep telling myself, especially when I was so elated last thursday at being able to go home right after school, which is 3pm if you didn't know. See how sad my life is? ):
Let's wallow in self pity. BOO HOOO HOOOOOO!
Oh Ms huang asked us what we would do if we end up like the boys on that stupid island in Lord of the Flies. I shall write down what I would do!
1) First, grabbing the opportunity, suntan myself. Then take a 24-hour long nap if possible.
2) After the loong break, realization that I'm on a savage-y island will suddenly hit me, and I'll start to whine. Really badly.
"WHYYYYY! MAMA! PAPA! I DON'T WANT TO BE HEREEEE! I WANT TO BATHE! I WANT MY INTERNET! I WANT TO BRUSH MY TEETH! I WANT MY MILOOOOO!"
3) This shall be worse than obs, since obs lasted a total of 5 days, which was torturous enough, but this can be eternity. ohmigosh imagine that! NO WAY. So I'll promptly start to cry realizing the hopelessness of the situation and mope in, well, hopelessness.
4) I'll probably die of infection or food poisoning or something, but presuming I won't die cos I acquired marvellous survival skills, I, together with the rest on the island, will start to build fires etc, all the time whining for home. It will, of course, be irritating, and hopefully some airplane pilot can sense the irritating vibes from above and swoop down to stop all the irritation.
5) Well. Maybe we'll turn into savages and kill piggies, following on we might feast on some human or two. Whee, how fun.
But since we're emotionally more mature than guys, maybe that won't happen, and therefore maybe we'll be sensible, rational, CIVILISED beings and we'll live happily ever after, with rescue, of course.
I might die though; I CAN'T SURVIVE WITHOUT MEAT!

I find the line "Aim for the moon: if you miss, you will fall among the stars" really illogical. After all, aren't stars further off than the moon?
Therefore, if you miss the moon, the only place you'll fall to is back to earth.
Then again, maybe you won't even fall back to earth since there's no gravity in space, so you'll probably be floating around in space, and er maybe that's what you want... of course, maybe you'll float endlessly and one day you'll end up on the stars.
Though why anyone would want to go to the stars or the moon is beyond my understanding; you'll probably be burnt to death before you reach 5 km within the range of the star, and you'll be so deprived of oxygen, water and food on the moon you'll probably die an ugly death in say one minute, if you can hold your breath that long.
