Crazy taxi and House of the dead
It's almost weird how things turn out.
Okay like always there's nothing to blog about, so I have to resort to extremes.
ZHIXIN's journey in CRAZY TAXI 2.Crazy taxi two is this game on my dreamcast, and it's pretty fun... if you don't play it too much. Seriously. Well basically it's like the one in the arcade, only you use dreamcast controls which is the same as every other control like xbox and playstation. So you just drive this taxi manically around and frighten every pedestrian there is there.
The amazing thing about crazy taxi two is the taxi and the people. First of all, the
taxi.The taxi
never gets dented or anything no matter how many phoneboxes and buildings and vehicles you crash into and no matter how high you drop. And moreover, it just comes out in perfect condition. Seriously. When I say high, I mean high. It can drop down from say 100 stories from above, and it can land in perfect condition with the passenger and driver completely unharmed. Wow.
The pedestrians are amazing things too. In fact they're the most amazing things in the game. Let me just list down the amazing things about them.
1) They are all filthy rich
Yes they are. Just merely 100m of road, and they feel the need to have a taxi to fetch them. The trip by the way lasts like 5 seconds, and they pay over 300 bucks for it. Wow. That money must be either super undervalued, or they're all billionaires who are too lazy to hire chauffeurs.
2) They never get injured
No matter how many times your taxi crashes into them, they can miraculously run away just right before the taxi comes. All they will ever do is scream and scream and curse at you. And even if there is only a building just behind and nowhere to run to avoid the taxi, they
can go right through the wall to avoid the taxi. See what I mean by amazing? And what more, you know they set ridiculous time limits for the taxi to reach their destinations right? So if my taxi doesn't reach the destination on time, they just curse a lot, punch my poor driver, and jump right out of the speeding taxi and disappear into a mass of other speeding cars. Wow.
3) They are sadistic people
They give tips for stunts like jumping into a mass of buses and avoiding say two buses side by side by one cm. And there's this Crazy Pyramid thing in which you have to complete obstacles. Well, one of the obstacles is this curvy road
at least 200 storeys above ground without any railing whatsoever, and obviously you have to get to the end without falling down. Trust me, I tried about 50 times before I succeeded. And the passenger is this pregnant lady who goes, "WOO HOOOOO!" and stands up and punches her fist in the air even though she is hanging to her life by this tiny thread.
And the most maddening thing about that is that there are NO railings, so even when you reach the end you can't zoom right through. Once I reached the end without accident and thinking that there was this wall at the end, I zoomed right through and suddenly, there was nothing but air underneath and I went straight down, which is very maddening especially when that is your 45th try.
Another obstacle requires you to jump from building to building sending four stupid passengers to their destinations which are also buildings (I think they all like different locations to commit suicide), and till now I haven't succeeded in finishing this yet, cos every time I just end up crashing into one of the buildings in a flurry of sparks.
The thing about crazy taxi two is that you can only play it but you can't watch another person play it for too long; most likely you'll get seriously dizzy.

ZHIXIN'S killing spree in The House Of The Dead 2Okay this is another game on my dreamcast. Now this game is filled with disgusting monsters who have green blood, and the main character himself has yellow blood. The unfortunate thing about this is that the gun we have doesn't work no matter how much we bang it against the table, so we have to use the controls too, which is a rather uncomfortable thing and gives you slower reaction time, and I like to think that that is why we have never gotten past the fifth monster.
Well most of the monsters just come at you zombie-like, and the fastest way to kill it is to shoot at his head. Sometimes the monster still doesn't die, so you just watch him come at you with half his head blown off. Most of them have lost their pupils, which might be the reason why they walk like zombies towards you. And when they die, it's really interesting to watch how they melt into a puddle of green goo on the ground, which shrinks and disappears leaving no trace whatsoever. I must admit, the creator of these monsters (in the game, which is apparently this man called Goldman) is really considerate for both me and the cleaners in the game.
And there are different type of monsters too!
1) The fat monster
Okay this game works the opposite way, so the thin monsters mostly walk to you zombie-like, while the fat monsters can rush up to you with a speed that is miraculous for its build. Mostly I like to shoot at its stomach so that I can sort of help it slim down (it is really an eyesore, especially since it bounces up and down when it rushes to me slamming that tummy filled with fats onto my face), but well that isn't the best way to get rid of it, and sadly for them, their fats never get blown off like their heads.
2) The monster with a heart that can attack
After you kill this monster, beware. The heart just zooms right out of its chest to attack you (ie splatter on your face), and you have to aim well to finish off the heart.
3) The monster with the exposed lungs
Well this is the boss monster of the second stage, and its chest sort of opens and closes exposing its lungs when it opens. Obviously its weak point is its lungs which are only exposed in alternate times, so you have to keep shooting at those lungs. Frankly, those lungs are quite beautiful as compared to the rest of him, and trust me, he is a disgusting sight especially when he is pressed right on you after he jumps on you.
4) The monster whose weak point is its coughcrotchcough
Basically you just aim well at that ahem place, and you can finish it off in two times. It's weirdly satisfying, and he's the best monster to kill seriously.
5)The monster with the saw
This monster comes zooming out of nowhere with this huge saw coming at you as though it has some venegence that it wants to settle with you, and hacks the saw right at you (ie the screen). Trust me, it's not pleasant to get hacked.
6) The invisible monsters
Okay this isn't part of the game. It's my dreamcast's fault. All the monsters just get invisible if you play for too long, and when it gets like that, mostly you just shoot at thin air, and all of a sudden you might get a scratch that appears out of nowhere when you see no monsters anywhere. It's a bit freaky.
FINE THIS POST IS CRAP. Basically I'm just telling you all what games I've been playing these few days, and these two are the most common as well as Tarzan, which I might crap about another day. Muahaha.
