Groovy niners!
Indeed we are! Even though we don't know each other very well (I can't even remember most of their names and faces), but I already know that we rock!
Definitely.
Anyway. Today we did some getting-to-know-each-other activities... including with the teachers! First we shall start with me!
Out of the below sentences, guess which two are false.
1) I am nicely crazy.
2) I am really tall.
3) I love chinese.
4) I love Mrs Leung.
AHAHAHA! I BET YOU GUESS NUMBER 2 FOR ONE OF THE TWO STATEMENTS RIGHT?
You are WRONG!See, it's a matter of
perspective. Look, I feel that I am
really tall. No kidding! You might be taller, then that just means you are really really tall. But I think I'm really tall! So that's a true statement! AHAHA!
Actually that's the only true statement! Cos I'm not nice too! HAHAAH!
Ok. Back to the point.
Today we saw our bio/CLE teacher who is teaching us for only a term. She's this freshly-graduated person from RJC, like Amanda Soon, but her personality and Ms Soon's are like a GALAXY of difference.
Maybe it's her first time lah, but still...
She doesn't seem like the sort of teaching material. Not to be mean of course... but you know, she's like eyes wide open, and she's pratically trembling already. And her voice's so soft you can't even hear her. I mean, it's natural to be nervous, but not
that nervous. We aren't that scary!
Whereas Ms Soon just marched in on her first lesson, looking terribly bored and a little pissed off, and going in this cool drawl: "good morning class". Notice I didn't captitalise it, cos it wasn't said in this formal way, but in this bored tone. :D Still, we loved her! And she had so much more confidence than this teacher.
We hope she'll, well, not get so scared of us! WE ARE A BUNCH OF SO NICE SEC THREES!
And she, well, doesn't have this teacher-ly presence.
Lena when she sees Lee Qi at the door: "Come in! There's no teacher... (looks over, then spots Ms Ang, and immediately realized her mistake)
Actually I myself didn't even realize she was standing there. -.-iii
Back to our form teacher, the MR TEO.
Today we were going in groups to ask him questions.
One of the groups: "How many girlfriends/boyfriends did you have before you got married?"
Well, he claims he doesn't have any boyfriends. :D HAHA.
Apparently he had
six girlfriends before he married his seventh. 0-0 Talk about an active social life.
Other questions included "Are you open to homosexuality"(he wasn't), "Why do you love pink" (he says he doesn't though he's wearing a pink shirt, and goes on to say that pink is becoming unisex) etc etc.
Tomorrow lessons are starting! And guess what? We have
MS HUANG SI JIAN as our lit teacher!
AHAHAHA! Zhi hua is
mad, completely mad. She thinks Ms Huang hates her and is disappointed in her for some weird weird reason in her mind. Like HOW CAN THAT BE? Ms Huang ADORES her! Don't you all agree? ;)
And Mr Joseph Toh is our english teacher...
which probably means I'm not going to quit debate. aiyah. haiz.
And since there's this highly probable chance I won't get in CAP, I'm thinking of a research studies topic.
Society's women's expectations of menCheem right? wait till you look at the questions.
1) What kind of guys do you prefer? (eg: asian, chinese, malay, whatever)
Zhi Hua and I: "Hmm. European, US, Eurasian... aiyah, caucasians lah. Just not singapore guys!"
2) Do you look for a taller guy to be your boyfriend, or do you not mind a shorter one?
Zhi Hua: "Of course taller. Any shorter than me, he'll be a
midget.HAHA. I have this feeling that these answers aren't going to be to the teacher's tastes... :D
