Sad Unrequited love
Yesterday we went to Plaza Sing to watch KING KONG. We actually wanted to go on Wednesday, except Zhi Hua changed to thursday.
Which was so, so sad.
All he ever did was to love her...Zhi Hua asks, "How can you be sure that Kong is a male?"
My sister and I looked at her astounded. "Of course he's a male! He can't be a female; they would be lesbians!"
"EWW! NO! Their kind of love is not like boy-girl what... like kind of siblings..."
In my opinion, their love IS boy-girl type. You just can tell. Though Ann should have abandoned Jack and mourned for Kong for at least the next ten years. After all that Kong had done for her (he even sacrificed his life! hello!), that was the least she could do... Jack didn't even do anything!
And what more, Jack didn't look that nice... his nose was humongous.
"Alright," Zhi Hua says. "I can tell he is male, especially from all that pounding."
Still. I like Titanic better. It's sadder, to me. Maybe because of all the music... or maybe because of all the spoilers of King Kong. It's like I've read so many reviews in Life! and so many blog entries about it that I already knew he was going to get attacked by helicopters and fall off the empire state building. And when you expect to feel something, you just don't feel it enough.
After that I was in shock for a while due to the movie.
Before we went to the movie, we went to pizza hut... I swear, we were the only table with only like students. And no wonder, for Pizza Hut is so
expensive. Service charge and all too! Luckily the man at the counter was nice enough to give us a discount, telling us with a wink that it was because Christmas was coming.
Bet he saw how cute we were... (I can hear people rushing to get to their toilets to puke)
And yeah, we were rather retarded. We didn't even notice Audrey in the next table! Maybe because she was wearing rather a lot of make up and maybe because she looked more mature than she usually does... I almost choked when Zhi Hua went, "Look! Isn't that Audrey next to us?"
After the movie we went to SHOP! ok, more accurately, window shop. Poor people like us have no money to shop. Sobs.
We walked around every level, then went out, and
walked all the way to orchard road, stopping at whatever shopping centre we saw to window shop every level.Stupid... only because we couldn't find the other bus stop that goes BACK. I seriously
do not know how Orchard Road works. Ohwell. It was quite fun... albeit all the complaining Zhi Hua and my sis did all the way.
And guess what? After months and months of searching for Heeren, we found it unexpectedly today. (I know I'm rather retarded lah. I go to Orchard like practically every single school day, and I don't know where Heeren is.)
So I rushed in, dragging both of them along, and excitedly zoomed in the first shop I saw: HMV.
I swear, I bet that shop has every single VCD released in the last 3? 4? 5? years.
Too bad we were broke. My pocket has been burned all the way through, and I can't even feel it now... so we could only look around at those beautiful covers of the VCDs.
Sad we are.
After that they complained so much that we simply had to go back. And the MRT was so full we practically stood all the way from city hall to our homes, which didn't help our aching feet.
I swear, shopping is a great way to exercise without even feeling you are exercising. *grins*
