Birthdays rock!
Yay! Love my birthday party!
At first it was rather irritating. All those people calling and telling me that they can't make it. Humph. And then when the party started Andrea started playing Maple Story on my comp (what? you mean the comp is more interesting than me?!?) and we started watching her. And guess what happens next? We cut the cake, and they all rushed to watch the stupid show that was showing on TV. Like, what the hell?!? Humph.
And when I decided that this party's gonna be a flop and I am going to write another depressing entry here, the show ended (there is a god after all... haha). and thus we began the games. (:
Heck care about childishness! We started playing crocodile, screaming and squealing as we rushed across the "river" to the other side without getting caught by the crocodile. Humph. zhi hua and andrea! you all never rush to the other side much... but then, we were letting them win lah hor? haha. otherwise we could have won easily. see we so kind?
Next, What is the time Mr Wolf? game. Everybody was trying to play cheat by having small steps with small numbers and big steps with big ones. and we were all gearing to run back at the first opportunity when the wolf shouted dinner time, our entire half of the body already facing the back ready to run at the slightest hint. haha. the wolf had a hard time trying to catch people.
and then, truth or dare! My friends are so kind. (: they didn't ask me who my crush is! haha. not that they knew who I like, but then... never mind. they are so kind! haha. but they asked me what i liked about my crush and I had to spew out a sentence of adjectives. humph.
and it's my turn! Dared andrea to go outside and sing "Barney is a dinosaur". Humph. Said something about not knowing how to sing it. Then my mother came out to tell us to go play in the lift lobby since people needed their sleep. Sigh. Dare game went off and turned into a singing competition. But in the end wasn't really a competition lah. everyone started singing and we couldn't vote. (:
This year the party had to end early since Andrea had to get to school early the next morning. Sigh. But it was quite fun overall. Love my presents! Let's see. Hui Min gave me this really nice ornament you find in Precious thoughts with this seven and this girl playing the flute, and she also gave me this really cool keychain with "Melody" there. (:
Then Zhi Hua gave me this cool BLACK t-shirt with PINK letters on it! *squeals* It looks a bit the small though... never mind, I still love it. (:
Andrea gave me this damn nice book! It looks interesting... I don't really have books in my house since I borrow them from the library all the time. Ahh, the feeling of owning a book...
Alicia gave me this cool peacock sculpture. It's quite pretty, with the glossy white surface and the delicate gold dots on the tail.
Even though I am not very popular, I love people who actually bother enough to send me a birthday greeting. (: Not a lot, but that makes them seem even nicer.
Thanks to everyone who bothered to wish me a Happy birthday! At least you all remembered, and made an effort. (:
