Irresponsible teachers
I just went for my Service Learning project today because I have a chinese drama rehearsal on Thursday and thus I changed it to today. After a whole day of worrying about which bus stop to stop at, I was finally on my way.
It took about 50 minutes to get there as the stupid 7 was so damn slow. I boarded the 7, and looked at my bus guide whenever it passed a stop. Finally I reached the bus stop, and I was so relieved that I got it right. I was so sure everything would go smoothly from down there.
Wrong. After all the effort of signing in and calling the teacher for about 3 times and getting no reply and climbling up and down the stairs to see if she could be waiting for me in the canteen, I finally got to know that she was on medical leave. MEDICAL LEAVE!!!
That stupid teacher was on medical leave and she didn't even bother to SMS me about it to cancel this whole thing off. It was already 4.30 by then and I fumed back all the way to the bus stop. A wasted trip. I wasted my time and my money.
I took an MRT all the way from clementi to Eunos and guess when I reached home? 6pm. 6PM!!! When I could have reached home 2 hours earlier. I don't mind reaching home late, but I DO mind wasting my time. 2 HOURS FOR A WASTED TRIP!!! Can't the teacher be more considerate and at least sms me to tell me not to come? What an irresponsible teacher. What kind of teacher is she? If she could apply medical leave from the school, then surely she isn't too sick to just switch on her handphone and sms me. At least switch on her handphone so that I can contact her and find out what the hell is going on. I wasted one hour to get there, half and hour to loiter around the school to find her, and one and a half hour to go home.
Never mind right? My time what. Students' time is always not precious. Who cares about their time. I am the more important one. I am sick, so it doesn't matter if I waste her time.
Idiot. I can't believe what kind of teachers Henry Park has. She's supposed to be more responsible. She has left an ultra bad impression on me. I could have been home sleeping for the three hours. I could have been doing all the stupid homework. I could have been surfing the net. But no, three hours wasted for a wasted trip.
Can't believe her.
